Deposits A deposit is required to guarantee your booking; this is £30 per room booked and can be paid by cheque, cash or by credit card . See below for further details of each option. Deposits are non-refundable (unless your booking has to be cancelled by us for reasons outside our control, in which case we will refund all monies received).
Arrivals and Departures. Typically guests arrive between 4.30pm and 6 pm and check out time on the day of departure is by 10:00 on weekdays and by 11:00 on weekends.
Cheque payments Payment can be made by cheque in UK Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. Please make them payable to The Coach House.
Credit card payments Many clients prefer to pay by credit and debit card card.This facility is now available, we can take Mastercard, Maestro, SOLO, Visa and Visa Electron. Both for the deposit and full payment.
We can take other cards in advance only, by email using PayPal®, the global secure payment system available in over 55 countries worldwide. You do not need to have a PayPal® account. Simply ask us for a PayPal® credit card invoice by email when you make your booking; this is quick, simple and secure to pay using any major credit card. When you pay using PayPal®, we do not receive your credit card details, which remain private between you and the processing banks. We do have to make a processing charge of 3.5% for this service, which on receipt of your authorized payment also guarantees your room in case of delayed arrival (without advance payment, we cannot guarantee a room). Cancellations (Important, please view) Reservations cannot be guaranteed without pre-payment or receipt of an agreed deposit. Cancellations will be charged as follows: within 21 days of arrival: 25% of reservation value (or first night cost, whichever is the higher); within 14 days of arrival: 50% of reservation value (or first night cost, whichever is the higher); within 7 days of arrival: 100% of reservation value.
Extras. Can be arranged to make your stay easier, including station or airport pick ups, hire of a limousine and chauffeur, self-drive car hire, etc. Simply ask in good time.

The Coach House is strictly non-smoking.
The Coach House has an automatic, integrated fire detection and alarm system throughout the building.
A hand held torch is provided in each guest room.
Secure gated parking.
The Coach House can accommodate small dogs but please ask before you
come and please remember that there are dogs and cats already in
residence.
The Coach House is a converted building with guest bedrooms accessed by
a staircase on the first floor. It has not been possible to alter the
fabric of the building to make the rooms easily accessiblefor the
disabled. Please call to discuss any special needs you may have, and we
will do everything we can to help.
Taxis are few and far between in Uckfield so it is better to book them in

From there, travel west along Snatts Road, The Coach House is about half a mile on the southerly side of Snatts Road, it has a pair of wooden door type gates.
